Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using MedicDex ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you are using MedicDex on behalf of a department or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Service Description

MedicDex provides EMS protocol management software that allows departments to upload, parse, and distribute their protocol content to crew members. The Service includes protocol search, a drug calculator, a cardiac arrest manager, and clinical reference tools.

3. Clinical Use Disclaimer

The drug doses, protocols, and clinical information displayed in MedicDex are derived from content uploaded by your department. MedicDex does not independently verify the accuracy of this content. Your medical director is responsible for the accuracy of uploaded protocols.

Always verify doses against your department's official standing orders. In any conflict between MedicDex and official protocol documents, the official documents control.

4. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your administrator account.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of protocol content you publish to crews.
• You must not share administrator credentials with crew members.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use MedicDex to:

• Upload content that is not your department's own protocol material.
• Upload content that infringes third-party copyrights.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Payment and Cancellation

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after 30 days. Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time and access continues through the end of the billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

7. Data Ownership

Your department owns all protocol content uploaded to MedicDex. We process and store this content to provide the Service. You may request export or deletion of your data at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

MedicDex is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedicDex and its operators are not liable for any clinical outcomes, patient harm, or damages arising from use of the Service. MedicDex is a reference tool — clinical decisions are the sole responsibility of the licensed provider.

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify administrators by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
